Thank you for your participation in Northville Parks & Recreation
Aquatics programs. We appreciate your loyality and patronage.
We regret to inform you that the Northville Parks & Recreation Aquatics
Program will end and the pool will be permanently close on Friday, July
22, 2016 after morning swim lessons are complete. Our plan was to
complete the summer session however, that has become impossible. We
apologize for the sudden notice.
This was a difficult decision. For the month of July so far we have
experienced many mechanical problems with a very aged pool
infrastructure which has led to many lessons being canceled and program
integrity and safety being compromised.
Also, all open drop-in aquatics programs, open/family swim, lap swim and
deep water walking are ending. This closure also applies to the Water
Anyone currently enrolled in any swim lessons either group or private
and water fitness participants will receive a full or pro-rated refund
in the form of a check.
Northville Parks & Recreation has entered into an agreement with Novi
Community Education for the overall operations for the Aquatics program,
including lessons and open programs. Information regarding the Aquatics
program will be found in our Fall 2016/Winter 2017 activities brochure
that will be mailed to residents and available on our website at
www.northvilleparksandrec.org on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
Once again we thank you for your past patronage and hope to see you in
one of the many classes or activities through Northville Parks &
