Baseline Rd, Northville Northville Parks and Recreation offers spring team lacrosse for Boys 3rd- 8th grade and Girls 5th - 8th grade at all skill levels. Our teams are well respected around the state and we offer a strong game schedule and practice level. Team practice and home games are at Northville Community Park. Read below to find the program that best fits your player. Team lacrosse is a popular program, so please register early to secure your position. Boy’s Equipment Required: Shoulder/elbow pads, lacrosse stick and gloves, mouth guard, athletic cup, cleats and approved lacrosse helmet. A jersey will be provided. Girl’s Equipment Required: Girls lacrosse stick, cleats, mouth guard, and lacrosse eye protection. A lacrosse jersey will be provided. 29-June12. Little Laxers- For girls and boys 1st-3rd grade will be offered Tues/Thurs, May 29-June 12, 5:00-6:00pm. Registration begins 3/20. Boys and Girls 4th -8th gradeThis five day clinic will focus on instruction and learning the exciting game of lacrosse. This is a great way to try out the game. Beginners are encouraged to attend. Learn how to pass, scoop, catch and cradle.
Little Laxers! Boys and Girls 1st-3rd gradeJoin us for a fun filled 5 day clinic and learn the basics of lacrosse. We use a soft foam ball for all our play! Bring your stick and work on passing, catching, footwork and fun games.

Boys 5/6 and 7/8 Club Level Team LacrosseThis program is for boys who are: new to lacrosse, playing another spring sport or interested in a shorter season than our travel team. Coaches will work with players on the fundamentals and game strategy to prepare them for competition. All skill levels, novice to experienced, are encouraged to participate. Twice a week practices will include drills and scrimmages. There will be 3 - 5 games or scrimmages scheduled on Tues/Thurs or weekend days in May. Team Meeting: March 15, 7:30pm, see website for updates. Registration Begins: December 1, 2011 for Northville School District residents. Boys 3rd and 4th Grade Lacrosse TeamThis program is for novice to experienced players. All skill levels are encouraged to participate. Emphasis is on learning the basic skills and game technique to prepare them for competition. Team will have practice two to three days a week, extra practices will be added on Saturday mornings. Teams will play 5 - 7 games. Games are played around SE Michigan on week days and weekends. Registration Begins: December 1, 2011 and is open to all Northville School district residents. Lax Nights - Boys and Girls Grades 6th - 12thJoin your friends and play lacrosse all summer long! This league is for experienced players wanting to play and work on their skills in the off season. Each session will include 30 minutes of skill work followed by 1 hour of scrimmages under the supervision of our experienced lacrosse coaches. Lax nights is for boys and girls 6th through 12 grades who have completed at least one season of team play. League runs for 7 weeks.
Boys and Girls End of Summer Lax Camps 5th - 8th gradeCome play the fastest game on two feet! Whether you are a beginner or experienced travel team player, here is a great opportunity to learn from our exciting coaches! Coach Dwayne Hicks, Michigan State University Head Coach and his experienced staff will lead the boys camp. Coach Stacey Tardich, Northville High School Varsity Coach will lead the girls camp. Camp includes daily drills, instruction and scrimmages, learn from the best!!
Coming Fall of 2012 — Skills Clinic for boys and girls beginners to advanced skills in September - October. Boys and girls advanced 7v7 play for team players October - November.
