Safety Town Volunteers
Age: 13-21
Location: Gym at St. Paul Lutheran Church
Day: Monday - Friday
Time: 9am - 1pm
Fee: Free

Teens are needed to work with the children as they learn and practice their safety lessons. All teens in middle school and high school are eligible for volunteering.

The Safety Town program relies on teen volunteers for the success of the program. All volunteers will undergo a background check. Space is limited so register early. No phone registrations will be accepted.

Babysitter Training Course

Age: 11 - 17
Location: Northville Community Center
Day: Saturday
Time: 9am-3pm
Session: November 3
Fee: Res. $105/Non-Res. $115

This 6 1/2 hour course covers basics of care giving for infants through school age children. Topics included are diapering, feeding, safe play, first aid, critical emergency action skills, interviewing for jobs, professional and responsible behavior, and leadership roles. Must be 11 years old (no exceptions) to receive certificate that will be emailed 2-4 days after the class from the American Red Cross. A valid and legible email must be provided at class. Bring a lunch with beverage, no refrigeration available.
