Michigan Lavender Fest at Blake's Orchard
The Lavender Festival is a perfect mid-summer getaway. Not only is this event a celebration of all the wonders of lavender, but also an event that puts together local, talented artisans of one-of-a-kind hand-made goods! Price DOES NOT include admission.

Pay admission on your own at the gate, $7 per person. Lunch will be on your own at the festival. The bus departs from the parking lot across from the Northville Post Office at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. for check in. Registration deadline: May 31.

Detroit Princess Motown Lunch Cruise

Listen to the smooth sounds of Motown while cruising on the Detroit River! This lunch cruise is perfect for seeing the downtown areas of both Detroit and our neighbors in Windsor. Lunch menu features tender beef tips and gravy, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetarian lasagna with sides of wild rice, fresh steamed vegetables, salads and rolls. Arts, Beats & Eats

The 21st Annual Food Arts, Beats & Eats takes place in Downtown Royal Oak. The festival offers more than 200 performances on nine stages, a highly ranked Juried Fine Arts Show, and local restaurants with some of the finest cuisine in Metro-Detroit. Food and beverage tickets are available throughout the festival at a cost of 16 tickets for $10. Food tickets are not included in the trip cost. The bus will depart from the parking lot across from the post office at 10:30 a.m. Please arrive by 10:15 a.m. Approximate return will be 3:30 p.m. Registration deadline: August 24

Senior Day at the Detroit Zoo

Seniors, 62 and over, residing in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties are invited to enjoy a special day at the Detroit Zoo. Senior Day features live music, tram tours, bingo, zookeeper talks and a senior resource area. Lunch is on your own at the zoo. The bus will depart from the parking lot across from the post office at 9:30 a.m. Please arrive by 9:15 a.m. Approximate return time will be 2:30p.m. Registration Deadline: August 31
