Dog Park
Northville stands among numerous Michigan communities that have introduced the joy of dog parks to their locals. Within Northville, there exist two dog parks in the current system: Cady Street spanning 0.7 acres and Community Park spanning 4 acres. These parks have garnered significant popularity, boasting a steady influx of devoted visitors.

Park Hours and Location
Cady Street Dog Park (Behind the Northville Art House 215 W. Cady Street)
- Monday-Friday: 9 am-8 pm or dusk, whichever is earlier.
- Saturday-Sunday: 10 am-7 pm or dusk, whichever is earlier.
Community Park Dog Park (Enter at Five Mile Road entrance, just west of Beck)
- 7 days a week: 7 am-9 pm or dusk, whichever is earlier.
Novi Dog Park
Novi Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services has partnered with Northville Parks & Recreation to allow members of the Northville Community Park access into the Novi Dog Park, 42390 Nick Lidstrom Drive, Novi, through the use of your Northville issued key fob. Novi residents are able to register at Novi City Hall, at the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services.

Application Process
- Step 1: Complete Membership Application
- Step 2: View the video
- Step 3: Complete the quiz and print results
- Step 4: Bring membership application, quiz results, proof of vaccinations(*), current dog license, and payment to the Parks and Recreation Department at Hillside (775 N. Center St., Suite B) Monday-Friday, 1 pm to 4:30 pm
- (*) - Applicants must provide a copy of current dog license and a copy of current vaccinations of rabies, DHLPP and bordatella for each dog registered. A parasite preventative is recommended.
Memberships & Renewals:
Option 1:
For Dog Park Membership Renewal: Please submit all necessary documentation to recreation@twp.northville.mi.us for approval. Once approved a Parks and Recreation representative will call to confirm documentation is accepted and proceed with payment options.
For New Dog Park Members: Please submit all necessary documentation to recreation@twp.northville.mi.us for approval. Once approved a Parks and Recreation representative will call to confirm an appointment time to collect payment and to distribute your dog park key fob.
Option 2:
Send all necessary documentation by mail, with a check. These can be mailed to Northville Parks and Recreation - 775 N. Center St, Northville, MI 48167. Once approved, a Parks and Recreation representative will call to confirm the documentation and payment was accepted.
Renewal Requirements:
- Completed renewal membership application
- Updated proof of several required vaccinations & expiration dates (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatella)
- Updated dog tag license from the city, township, or village of residence
- Payment to retain a key fob park access
- Key fob number
Dog Park Annual Pass Fees
(Good for 1 year from registered date)
- Combination Pass - access at Cady Street and Marv Gans Community Park
- $40 residents
- $80 non-residents
- Cady Street Pass - for access at Cady Street Park only
- $30 residents
- $60 non-residents
- Marv Gans Community Park Pass - for access at Community Park only
- $30 residents

- Extra Dog (up to three)
- $12 each
- Fob deposit (resident and non-resident)

- Key Fob Deposit Return Form
- $10 will be refunded when fob is returned in-person or via mail.
