To ensure safe and fair use, a reservation permit is required for any Northville Parks and Recreation athletic field designated as a game field. This applies to all organized games, practices, activities, or instruction by teams, groups, or coaches.

At Marv Gans Community Park, most athletic fields fall under this permit requirement and are reserved for scheduled use by local sports organizations. These fields are not available for drop-in play.

The one exception is the Practice Field, located just south of the Dog Park. It is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis and does not require a reservation.

The park’s walkways and open spaces remain fully open for public use. We appreciate your understanding as we balance open access with organized community programming.
